go, firecrackers,
go, spirits of light
expel the ghosts,
old hurt and worries
and make room
for new memories

Glad to see you back Sarah 😀
Do I still need to give you a careful hug, or can it be a bit more merry?
In other words: How’s the head sweetie?

I’m going for merry, but it still hurts. I went for a scan yesterday and phew, all is well.

How many weeks, or should I say months, has it been now? You must go raving mad by that head ache by now *merry hug*
Good news on the scan though, what a relief!

8 weeks today. Groan, groan. Though during the holidays I had one whole day headache free.
In all honesty, I was pretty mad already, so no one’s really noticed my deeper slip into insanity.
Hugs back.

And you didn’t do anything unusual on that one day? You must have been so happy, only to be kicked deeper down when the pain returned. I’m so very sorry.
Insanity is all that’s keeping you sane at the moment. You may slip, but you may not fall xx

I may have to try out your six-word challenge one of these days. Right now I’m still partying – Mark’s birthday is Tuesday, but we’re celebrating today while the kids are still here. One more time. . .
Then I’m just going to collapse.
Happy New Year.

“Making space for new memories”… How important this is for us to learn – to let go. No matter how important is that thing, but we, ultimately, discover that it’s always good to just let go. 🙂
Thanks for sharing this. Happy New Year , Marion! 🙂
