Murmuration of Starlings

Starlings like to flock together. They like to fly together. And they even like to coordinate an impressive air ballet together. In this video they are swarming like they are one organism in stead of multiple.

  1. My goodness! This is phenomenal. I’m out of words actually. I have never seen this ever before, not even on National Geographic.

    Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  2. Seen this video before somewhere. It is amazing. I often see this sight as I drive across the border between England and Scotland on the Solway Firth in south west Scotland, it is truly wondrous.

  3. When Julia mentioned the trouble with starlings, that brought back to mind your friend the mole cricket.
Even with something that is a pain,a nuisance, or even something that can cause death, still there is beauty there.
    It helps to remember that.

  5. They also like to pick your roof into pieces and chatter up a storm at 5am! But they are lovely. I had 5 of them stuck in my dryer vent a few years ago. What an ordeal that was. LOL But we all survived.

Thanks basillllly for leading our Marion to the video. Just lovely.

    Much love,

    1. They just loooooove people. I’m sure these five only wanted to get close to you. Or to the warmth 😉 These birds can make a lot of noise, I agree.
      Thanks for watching, dearest Jules.
