Travel theme: Benches

To see benches from all over the world is Ailsa’s goal this week. So I dug into my photo archives and found:

~ this simple but stylish wooden bench in Corfe, England.

~no mere bench, but a home for a dog and her pups.

~ too beautiful to sit on.

~ Ailsa, this might look familiar to you: a Dublin bench. The photo in the header was also taken there.

130412bench6~ and another piece of art, the Serpent Bench in Park Güell, Barcelona, designed by Antoni Gaudí.

Want to see more benches? Then quickly go to Ailsa’s Where’s my backpack? Hurry, or your seat might be taken!

Villages of England

The fishing village of Clovelly was a pleasant surprise on our trip in the south of England,

as was Corfe, village of Dorset, with its famous castle.

More villages in Jake Sprinter’s Sunday Post.
