No rain in Portugal, Jo? I hope no fires?
The summers are getting drier and drier, in the Netherlands as well. Last year was dreadful, this year it’s OK.
Hugs, enjoy the weekend.
We are threatened with thunder and lightning and a few showers next week but whether it happens we’ll have to wait and see, Marion. Thank God, no fires down here. California/Oregon have been living a nightmare. 😑💕
Dear friends of mine own a house in Portugal, and a couple of years back, fires threatened their home! The flames reached into their garden, but then stopped. Such a relief.
I participate in Cee’s black and white photo challenge, and she has fled their home because of the fires in California/Oregon. Horrible, to leave and not know what you’ll find when you return.
I hope the thunder and lightning will produce much-needed rain in Portugal. ❤
I know. I’ve been following Cee’s plight. Awful, isn’t it? And last year friends in Australia were in the same situation. 😑💕 So far fires here have been small local incidents but all of them tragedy for someone. 5 firemen have lost their lives this summer.
How pretty and refreshing, Marion.
