6WS: Autumn Smoothie

My Saturday in Six Words:

Avocado, Nectarine, Apple, Seeds, Water. Blend.

PS. You might want to add a bit of lemon juice, to spice it up. Though that would be seven, so I didn’t. But you should. 😉

          1. I’ve tried yogurt based ones and used peach, raspberry, pineapple, strawberries and blueberries (although not all at once!). The taste is very nice, but it’s the texture (and the thickness) – maybe water would have been better than yogurt. I’ll have another go – but I don’t think I’ll be ready for raw spinach for a while! 🙂

  1. :). That “salad” looks delicious, Marion. But the apple seeds would send my colitous to the hospital again. I didn’t know they were edible.

    1. It is not a salad, Jim. These are the ingredients for a smoothie. I made this photo right before I blended the fruit, avocado and water into one. The brown seeds are linseed, the black are chia seed.
I never eat apple seeds either, and I most definitely don’t want you to end up in hospital!!! 🙂
