Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate
And though I oft have passed them by
A day will come at last when I
Shall take the hidden paths that run
West of the Moon, East of the Sun.
I adore hobbits. I adore their joy for life. For celebrating. For finding positive aspects in even the bleakest situations. I don’t think I will make it to my eleventy-first birthday, but tomorrow I’m exactly halfway!
So in honor of Bilbo, tonight we are celebrating my half-eleventy-first birthday. And at midnight, we’ll toast. To Bilbo!
Bilbo Baggins is on the loose. I have seen him in action last Saturday, and I was enchanted by the unique Middle Earth atmosphere once more. Oh what bless to go back to the magic of Tolkien. To see his story come to life, in full color and 3D action. With special compliments for the Lady Galadriel and Smeagol. Epic scenes, dwarven battles, the eye of Smaug in stead of the eye of Sauron. I loved every minute of it. Come on, Peter Jackson, give us part two and three! Or at least the DVD. I want to see it again. And again!

I am SO very sorry. Upon rechecking these links – I wanted to continue watching – suddenly the message appeared that the videos have been removed by the user.
I remember that I breathlessly watched one part of Lord of the Rings (animated) when I was still living at home… and that the sequel was never shown. Well, now I have found it, all in these films! 😀
So much fun comparing them to Peter Jackson’s movies.
Will you watch them with me? If only for a little while?
