With confidence and trust

This week it is Smokey’s turn to stand, or rather lie in the spotlight. He looks up with confidence and trust. Four years in our family have done him a lot of good. And he entertains us on daily basis with his crazy shenanigans and funny sounds. Such an awesome companion!

Well, he was silent at that moment. 😉

Have an enjoyable Sunday!

WPC: A Face in the Crowd

Erica created an interesting challenge this week: choose a photo that represents being just one in the crowd, being anonymous. Find a way to mask your subject.

The first photo shows a beautiful horse, but I wanted to capture the love of these two teenagers, taking care of it.

In the picture above, I tried a different technique. The subject of this photo is obvious, isn’t it? A huge yellow art statue is popping up from the earth. Still my eyes are drawn towards the child that is only partly visible.

I hope these photos do justice to the challenge.

WPC: Beloved

Okay, in my opinion nothing can get better than the photo Jen took for this week’s challenge: Beloved. ❤ But I’ll give it a try. First this sweet cat lady in Athens, Greece, who feeds her beloved stray cats every single day.

Second, a striking statue of two males embracing in Mechelen, Belgium.
