There certainly cannot ever be too many flowers, and your choice today has really made me smile as two weeks ago my Mum and I were attempting to rescue one of these that had self-seeded in my drive. She is now ‘plant sitting’ it for me, and so if it survives I will now always think of your lovely post and today. Thank you xxx

Very joyful! I’ve been thinking about buds today – these ones seem to play a beautiful support role to the flowers.
