    1. I find that little things matter most, Jo. The small daily pleasures, like contact with family and friends. Reading a book. Petting a cat. Hugging your partner.
      My dad took a nasty fall a couple of weeks ago, and V-man’s father is also not well. Age is not always kind eh. But I’m thankful for each day I have with my parents, though contact is mostly through phone. I can’t be around often, and that worries me.
