part of the Granada Corpus procession in 1760. It is a dragon with seven heads, that symbolizes the seven sins. The Talasca is governed and dominated – against the odds – by Lady Faith!

Oh yes, and they could bite… but Lady Faith is keeping them in check. 😉

And still the fair lady is keeping a tight leash on the mighty multi-headed dragon. I love the symbolism, Sylvia.

Thanks, Janet. I’ve been searching through my photos for quite a long time until I saw this one.
I took a day off and visited my parents last Thursday, for my dad (84)has taken a nasty fall a week ago. He has been in bed ever since: his back has been damaged plus his blood pressure is way too high. Has been for years. How I wish I lived closer to home…

So sorry to hear about your dad. It’s difficult when they get older and you just can be around as much as you’d like. My parents live in Arizona, which is two very, very long driving days or a four hour flight, so I don’t get to se them much either. They’re 87 and 86, so I know what you mean.
