Wonderful take on the theme…..watching cats watching birds always gives me mixed feelings. You can feel the tense energy in the cats….and then I worry about the birds. Mother Nature is full of dilemmas!

I have the same, Seonaid. I understand that nature won’t be tamed, that it is in cats to eat birds… but not while I can help it. My old cat had an odd understanding with the two turtledoves that even nested in my back yard. But these new tomcats still have to learn our rules. 😉
