Another spring morning lured me out into the back yard, where the newborn green is surging up- and outwards. Time for my garden shears to jump into action.
First I attacked a herb that grows fast and relentless. Its roots crawl into every direction just under the soil, usurping all in their path. I don’t know the name, but the smell is delicious. These are the youngsters that have now the freedom to roam again.

Next to these enthusiastics is this thoughtful modest bush. The dry old seeds had to make way…
for the new growth.
To my surprise the Spanish daisies made it through winter! How about that! Must have been an exotic winter here in the Netherlands.
And if by any chance you feel sorry for the oldsters who bravely fought to survive the cold months, take a look at what happened under their own eyes.
How green can it get? 🙂
Warmest welcome to you, Princess Spring.
very nice in new “expound” …have peaceful easter without Mr. Putinś dreams…:-)))
