What a great photo! Who knew they were made with wood!

They used to be. And now parts in expensive cars are still made of wood, but that would be the interior only.

Yes nothing like a teak dashboard : ) And NO, I don’t have one : )

Me neither. Which is a good thing, because I would be petting it while driving haha.

Hahahaha! I DO have a thing for nice cars and my 6 year old Audi has a bit of wood in it. It’s gotten very beat up of late! Still runs like a champ!

Beautiful cars, Audi’s. I’m glad you have a champ to drive you around.

Not if I move to Horst !! He wants me to learn to drive a stick shift which gives me the sweats ! NOPE!

Laughing out loud here ooooh hahaha. A stick shift isn’t that hard, really it isn’t. Driving an automatic gives me the sweats, I want to be in control! 😛

It really is beautiful, Marion, and definitely has more character than the new, shiny ones… 🙂

Somehow they are more sturdy than the modern vehicles. Even in their old age, they retain their beauty.

Marion, you got in early today. It was funny because while I was assembling my photos, quite a few people posted. When I started, there weren’t any posts. I have an image of all of us, all over the world, feverishly working away as soon as the challenge is posted! Have a great weekend.
