The whole park was a marvel of interesting scenes and objects. The lava in the Wupatki Park found its own characteristic way down the mountain. How plants and trees can live there is amazing.

It is standing guard and screaming… this tree creature…preventing anyone to enter beyond this point. (creepy).

Screaming with its head thrown back. It is kind of spooky indeed. I like to think it is protecting the sacred grounds behind it.
The word ‘torture’ popped up in my head too.
