Weekly Photo Challenge: Green

Are you ready for another multi-photo challenge?, Sara Rosso asks. I bet you are :) This time I made it easy for you, with a color. Green. For some of you, in the northern hemisphere, you may not be seeing green for a while. Let’s celebrate all things green!

Share (many) pictures in a gallery which mean GREEN to you!

Faced with this challenge, I started to smile, then grin. I mean, what could be better for someone who is nicknamed The Green Sorceress, or Greeny in short. In my RPG’s I always play a Ranger or Druid. Because I love nature, animals and green. In Dungeons & Dragons I drive the guys to madness because of my choice of companions. Green ones, wolves, horses.

Would you like to see my green choices? A photo of a special plant, called the Ginkgo Biloba, a living fossil, as a unique species recognizable similar to fossils dating back 270 million years. Or simple yet graceful grass? My sweet little green Kaatje, whom I had to say goodbye to last week? Or how about a green waterbed? The Green with a capital G?

  1. This prairie kid loved the shot of wheat growing. Plus the puss cat drinking out of a handy source of water. But above all – the healthiness of your photo subjects – for various reasons!

    1. That’s a homemade smoothie of banana, apple, pear, kiwi, spinach and celery. And like I told Madhu: it tastes much better than it looks like 😉 I’m addicted to these smoothies and drink them for breakfast. Each day I think up new combinations 😀

    1. Sounds like… but I’m not 😛 I just didn’t dare play WoW, afraid I would get addicted. The graphics were beautiful. But I don’t like the multi-player online aspect. And the too long ears haha 😉
      Do/did you play WoW, Keith?

      1. I did back before all the expansions, I go back about 1 month per year these days, just to see what’s new. Also the ears are adjustable to a degree. Go try the free version till level 20, just don’t blame me, if you end up playing 😀
