Not recently. I simply use black and white effects when I think it will enhance the (feeling of) the photo. I think the simplicity it brings, is beautiful. But not for all photos.

No, not for all photos. Black and white is more honest and does not confuse us with colours and I love it when it works. I worked amazingly in your pub shots and your renewal shot of boys – so clever that one, exquisite 🙂

I needed more than a photo of nature in that challenge. We traveled to New York in May 2010 and had four intense days. Ground Zero was impressive in its emptiness and labor to create something new.

First it is time for an Indonesian rice dish, made by my (ex) co-workers and me. Twice a year the five of us come together for eating, laughing – often until we cry – and talking. But after that, I’ll gladly submit to your dreamsleep 🙂
