Inspired by Italy, and by my Facebook friend Anja, I decided to make a Mediterranean bread today. Meaning, I threw in everything that felt sunny and warm.
- 210 ml water
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 500 gram flour
- yeast
- salt
- sesame seeds
- pieces of walnuts
- fresh chive
- fresh parsley
- fresh oregano
- sun-dried tomatoes
I fired up my bread-baking machine and about three hours later tasted the result. Mmmmmmmm 😀
Did you eat it hot or waited for it to cool off? It looks scrumptious 🙂

I tried to bake a bread some time ago, but that wasn’t a big succes, the bread was always to hard at the outside ;-( After reading thuis blog i think i will try to bake a bread once more.

Once you have the right recipe, it will become easier. I use a broodbakmachine, Michael, and that keeps the temperature steady. Perhaps that is an option?

I have such a machine but it comes out hard at the outside. I must admit that i don’t find the way to use the right program. I only can push one button and then the machine starts to work 😉

This sounds really delicious. I wish I could have smelled it baking, and of course had a taste when it was still warm. 🙂

It was, and still is. I hope there’s a piece left in the morning 😉 Perhaps you can make bread yourself?

I don’t have the space for a bread maker. This probably quite fortunate, as I’d always be making and eating, and hubby and I would probably get as fat as houses. 😀

Haha, that could be true. You just can’t stop eating once you started. I just had two sandwiches with smoked trout. Yum!

There is nothing quite so comforting as the smell of bread baking. Well maybe the eating of that fresh baked bread too. Lovely slideshow and good for you!!
Much love,

Cool – can you send some over. I just don’t see me ever getting round to making bread – boiled eggs are hard enough for me.

My advise would be to arrive here early tomorrow morning. Or else the bread will be gone. Into the stomach of my hungry sons. And mine of course 😉

I had to stop myself from throwing in more ingredients. Next time I’ll add cheese too. And garlic. 🙂
