Outside the wind was darting playfully around the house, chasing leaves in the dark. Temperatures plummeted, but inside was laughter, friends and food. While Vman had been toiling outside to plant four lime trees, I was snug inside in the kitchen, preparing a tapas dinner.
Here are the fruits of my labor:
And the separate dishes:
tortilla, with salmon and bell pepper
Dates wrapped in bacon
Toast, sweet & sour, aioli
Tomatoes, filled with tuna cream and whisky
Salted almonds, olive mix, chili sauce and cucumber
Olive dip oil, soy salmon and tomato mix
Garlic mushrooms in white wine
Smashed potatoes, ready to be baked
It was finger lickin’ good food! But the company was even better. Thanks sweet friends, for transforming a cold evening into a warm bubble of coziness.

It’s after midnight and I’m starting to get hungry. Must be the thought of those chocolate truffles 😉

Dat klopt ja!
Your tapas look lovely and delicious. Hope you had a great time. Today I will be posting some photos over at the other place on the 365 of our Thanksgiving meal on Saturday if you want to take a look.
And I left a comment on your photos as well. My keyboard has just short circuited, due to the drool that is dripping from my mouth. Very tasty!
Wish we were neighbors…or at least occupied the same part of planet earth. Nonetheless…these photos did the trick. My tummy’s full from having a gander at your “nummy-yummies.” My eyeballs thank you…as do I. ha, ha.
hugs, hugs, and more hugs…hugmamma. 🙂
Your eyeballs? ROFLLL you are a funny lady. Glad to be of service to your tummy 😉
MMM…looks delicious. Great that you had a nice evening. xxx
It was! I hope your weekend was as nice 🙂
D & I like to have meals like this, we call them ‘appetizer parties’ 😉
The good thing is that these appetizers keep appetizing until you are stuffed like a stuffed turkey. Or is that a bad thing? 😉
